District recognizes Victor Soto as regional Collection System Person of the Year

Sewer Superintendent Nathan Zamorano and Sewer Foreman Andy Keller recognized Collection Systems Operator III Victor Soto for receiving the CWEA-DAMS Collection System Person of the Year award for 2024; Soto will be considered for the statewide award among section winners.
Sewer Superintendent Nathan Zamorano recognized Collection Systems Operator III Victor Soto during the Jan. 21 board meeting after Mr. Soto was named the California Water Environment Association – Desert and Mountain Section (CWEA-DAMS) Collection System Person of the Year for 2024.
Sewer Foreman Andy Keller summarized Mr. Soto’s history and accomplishments with the District and noted that, as a section winner, Soto will be considered for the statewide Collection Systems Operator Person of the Year award alongside winners from other sections.
The recognition was presented as part of the board’s meeting presentations; no formal board action was required.
