One commissioner noted the budget timing also enables CFD to apply for a PPE grant once the hires are in the district's budget.
Staff stressed that the CFD figures will be repeated at the evening business meeting and that commissioners can ask for additional detail before any formal authorization. No vote or final adoption of the CFD budget was recorded in the morning hearing transcript.
