NGCDD Executive Committee reduces and approves $30,000 support for iCan Shine June camps

Nielsen said she will circulate flyers for the camps to committee members. Stacy Alaribe moved to approve lowering the financial support to up to $30,000; Autumn Blattman seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
The funding is intended to support two camps in June 2026: a bike camp and a swim camp run under the iCan Shine program. The committee did not receive public comment on the item. Staff will take the administrative steps required to allocate the approved funds and distribute camp materials as described.
The committee set its next meeting for May 7, 2026.
