Cayce council approves fleet-tracking contract, water-treatment study and ratifies emergency sewer repairs

Council Member Tiffany Aull moved to approve a proposal from American Engineering to perform an advanced-treatment study at the Water Treatment Plant, with the project to be funded through the SRF principal forgiveness fund; Council Member Byron Thomas seconded and the motion passed by roll call (unanimous).
Council also ratified an emergency repair agreement the City Manager had authorized under Sec. 2-146: G. H. Smith Construction, Inc. for $51,890 for the repair work, and Carolina Paving & Grading, LLC for $32,513 for asphalt repair. Council ratified those emergency expenditures by roll call vote.
