Worthington Hills commissioner says town ranks sixth for state road funding as House Bill 304 moves to appropriations

At the Jan. 20 meeting of the City of Worthington Hills Commission, Road Commissioner Linda Beville updated colleagues on the city's road grant efforts and recent legislative activity.
Beville said Worthington Hills ranks sixth on the state's road-need list and that the road fund totals $20 million. She said the grant application for the city's CPPP (Community/Public/Project Program) was submitted in September 2025 and that she had emailed state lawmakers seeking support, including Senator Tichenor and Representative Tina Bojanowski.
Beville told the commission that House Bill 304 has been introduced and referred to the Appropriations and Revenue committee; she said she will monitor the bill's progress and inform the commission when votes occur.
Commissioners did not vote on formal action related to the grant during the meeting. The update was presented as part of the "Old Business" section of the agenda.
