Planning & Zoning unanimously approves two setback variances for Jal Public Schools

Utah Ave.), reducing the backyard setback along the alley to five feet; Commissioner Trevino seconded and the motion carried 5-0. Commissioner Trevino then moved to approve the second variance for Dick Herwig & Stuart Third Addition, Block 41, Lots 26 & 27 (415 S. 1st St.), reducing the backyard setback along the alley to 1.5 feet; Commissioner Smith seconded and that motion also carried 5-0.
