Lancaster Select Board approves minutes, enters sealed non-public session and signs tax documents

At its March 3 meeting the Lancaster Select Board approved the Feb. 18, 2025 regular and non-public session minutes, signed timber tax warrants and an intent to cut, entered a non-public session to receive legal advice, and voted to seal the non-public minutes until after any legal adjudication.
A motion by Selectman Kathy-Jean Lavoie, seconded by Selectman Shane Beattie, approved the February 18 regular and non-public minutes; the minutes state the motion carried with all in favor.
Administrative paperwork signed at the meeting included Timber Tax Warrants for Tax Map R09, Lots 059 and 051 and an Intent to Cut Supplemental for Tax Map R12, Lots 51 & 63; sign and land-use permits were also noted among information items.
Town Manager Jessica Cyr told the board the repairs and road-conditions report had been submitted to FEMA and that some FEMA checks have begun arriving. Later in the meeting the board moved into non-public session under RSA 91-A:3 II(l) to consider legal advice; roll-call votes were recorded as 'aye' and the board entered non-public session at 7:47 p.m. The board returned to public session at 7:52 p.m. and voted to seal the non-public minutes until after the conclusion of any legal adjudication.
The meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn that carried unanimously.
