Dr. Kelly Curtis told the board she was “honored to join the district as the new K-twelve math supervisor,” and said she looks forward to “serving the community, serving the students, teachers, families, and the district as a whole.” The board approved agenda items A1 through A24 and addendum items (including A25 and A26) by a 6–0 vote to make the appointments official.
Board members also introduced and welcomed a new biology teacher, identified in the meeting as Mead Eggles. Board discussion that preceded the vote included routine verification that the appointments were placed on tonight’s agenda and a recognition of the hiring process used for the math supervisor position.
The board’s approval was presented as a single consent motion covering the personnel items; no amendments to individual appointments were recorded. The meeting record shows the personnel motion carried unanimously by the members present.
