Staff described the pilot’s goal as creating an AI‑enabled tool to help engineers find relevant design and engineering guidelines in the field, reducing time spent searching thousands of documents.
Committee members asked clarifying questions; there were no objections to moving the grants update through consent after discussion. Staff will return with contract documents and a timeline when the contract is signed and vendors are selected.
