The Caroline County Liquor Board approved a request to change the licensed premises for Star Deli & Liquor after staff presented a building permit and site plan submitted on Nov. 5, 2025.
Board administrator Geneva said the packet included a site plan and permit showing exterior and interior modifications. Commissioners clarified that a front patio and a rear stair/loading ramp would not be included in the licensed premises and that all alcoholic beverages would be kept inside the building. One commissioner described the front addition as an 8‑ to 10‑foot roof extension with a concrete area beneath; the licensee confirmed no alcohol would be served on the patio.
A motion to approve the proposed plan was made and seconded; the board voted in favor and staff will follow up with a written approval. The packet lists the application address as 105 Williamsburg Road; another packet reference uses the spelling “Whitesleysburg Road.” Staff will include the correct street spelling in the written approval.
