Key formal actions included approval of the June 17 minutes; authorization to pay expenses; acceptance of the treasury report; ratification of staff review comments for subdivision and land development items covering June and July; approval of requested waivers and motion to approve a lot consolidation plan; tabling of the Morris driveway application until a representative is present; authorization to send a Watts Township review letter regarding a curative amendment; authorization to send a Norfolk Southern review letter on a monopole application; entering into a Local Planning Assistance agreement with Miller Township; and authorization to send an editorially‑conditioned letter of support for the Marysville bank housing project and CHDO designation efforts.
Motions were moved and seconded and passed by voice vote on each item where votes were recorded. Several letters and review items were authorized rather than final approvals of project plans; in the case of the Blaine gas station the commission requested additional responses from the applicant and county engineer before taking action.
