Holmdel Zoning Board approves minutes, carries two pool and patio applications to Aug. 5

At its July 15 meeting the Holmdel Zoning Board approved June 24 regular and executive session minutes by roll call, and carried two agenda items (a patio variance at 33 Bayberry Drive and a pool application for 798 Haundel Road) to the Aug. 5 meeting.
The Holmdel Zoning Board of Adjustment opened its July 15 meeting with roll call and the Pledge of Allegiance. The board approved the regular-session and executive-session minutes from its June 24 meeting by roll-call votes.
Francine, the board administrative officer, read the first two public-hearing items. ZBA 2025-2 (33 Bayberry Drive) — a variance application for a rear paver patio and increased lot coverage — will be carried to the board’s Aug. 5, 2026 meeting. ZBA 2026-03 (798 Haundel Road) — an application to permit an in-ground swimming pool in an R40A zone — was likewise carried to Aug. 5. Both continuances were approved by voice votes and will be renoticed as appropriate.
The remainder of the meeting focused on a separate application for 24 Shank Road, which the board carried to Oct. 21, 2026 for renotice and further review.
