The Marion Town Council on Feb. 17 approved a Small Business Loan to Jamie Rickman, owner of Black Match, for $15,000 payable over 60 months at 2 percent interest. Economic Development Director Ken Heath told the council the loan-committee had recommended approval.
Mrs. Suzanne Jennings moved to approve the loan; Larry Carter seconded. The motion passed by a roll-call vote of 7 AYES and 0 NOES. The council recorded the loan terms in its motion: $15,000, 60 months, 2% interest. The council directed Economic Development staff to prepare loan documents and schedule the closing.
