The Richland County Board of Commissioners voted Oct. 7 to adopt proposed minimum sale prices for county foreclosure properties.
On a motion by Commissioner Nathan Berseth, seconded by Commissioner Rollie Ehlert, the board approved the list of parcels and minimum total sale amounts that was attached to the meeting record. The motion carried unanimously.
The attached schedule lists multiple parcels in Fairmount and Lidgerwood and includes parcel numbers, addresses, legal descriptions and minimum sale prices; several entries note drains or special assessments. The packet also lists a set of unsold properties from prior years.
County staff indicated the list will be used for upcoming foreclosure sale procedures and that certain entries carry special assessments or drainage charges. Further details can be obtained from the county Auditor/Administrator’s office and from the meeting materials that accompany the Oct. 7 minutes.
