At the Sept. 11 meeting, Commissioner Cody Meadows moved and the commission approved hiring Joel Day to survey the property behind City Hall for up to $1,000. The motion passed and was recorded in the minutes.
The commission approved the August 2025 financial report and, by motion, accepted M Bayer Consulting's audit engagement letter. Commissioners also agreed to pay the Chamber of Commerce membership invoice.
The commission reviewed a CivicPlus municipal website redevelopment proposal that would cost $4,894 in the first year (covering business-license and payment integration) and $3,744 annually thereafter. No final contract award was recorded at the meeting; the proposal was presented for consideration.
These finance and administrative items were handled as routine business during the meeting and will be revisited as needed in subsequent sessions.
