Stamping Ground swears in Commissioner Megan Brown and approves budget ordinances

At a June 26, 2025 special meeting in City Hall, the Stamping Ground City Commission swore in Megan Brown as commissioner and approved two budget ordinances, including an amendment to the current fiscal year budget and an ordinance establishing the 2025–2026 budget.

Megan Brown was sworn in and assumed her seat as commissioner during the opening portion of the meeting. The swearing-in was recorded as the first item of business.

Mayor Jennifer Jones moved to adjourn the meeting; Commissioner Dale Perry seconded, and the motion carried. The minutes of the June 26 meeting will be considered for approval at the commission's August 26, 2025 meeting.
