The Stamping Ground commission voted June 12 to remove a former account signatory and update city bank signatories while postponing approval of the April and May 2025 financial reports.
Commissioner Dale Perry moved and Commissioner Ken Koger seconded a motion to remove Reda Conn from the city’s bank accounts and add Mayor Jennifer Jones; the motion passed 3-0. Separately, the commission voted 3-0 to add the mayor, the mayor pro tem and the city clerk as signatories on a WesBanco certificate of deposit.
Commissioners discussed switching the city’s credit-card service and gathering information from People’s Bank as a possible new banking partner. The commission did not vote on a banking vendor; members agreed to continue gathering information and to review financial statements at the next meeting.
The commission also agreed to postpone approval of the April and May 2025 finances so members would have time to review the reports before voting.
The meeting minutes record that the commission took the signatory votes as part of routine financial-administration actions; no additional detail on account numbers or authority limits was included in the minutes. The commission adjourned at 7:58 p.m.; the minutes will be considered for approval at the June 24, 2025 meeting.
