Owosso Historical Commission reviews Home Tour plans, explores Castle water access and seeks volunteers after PFCU grant

On the question of water access, the commission discussed allowing events in the park to utilize the Castle’s water. Public comment period drew no speakers. Commissioner Rich Collins said he was pleased to join the commission and thanked members; Commissioner Lorraine Weckwert said she enjoyed the Castle’s 250th event and encouraged attendees to read the Declaration of Independence. The commission set its next meeting for August 10, 2026 and adjourned at 7:02 p.m.
