At the July 13 meeting the board completed several administrative tasks. President Greg Brunner and Clerk/Treasurer Tia Kancilia signed the previously approved agreement for legal services with Slaby Deda to begin in 2027.
Clerk/Treasurer Kancilia presented information and pricing to upgrade the village website through the current provider (Rural Water Impact). The board approved building a larger, reorganized website and migrating existing content on a motion by Trustee Will McCarron, seconded by Trustee Tyler Lemke; the vote was unanimous.
Kancilia’s report (attached to the minutes) included funds spent, account balances, utility billing and garbage collection. The minutes note ten overdue utility accounts with warning disconnections and one account already disconnected. The MOE was completed and all absentee ballots were mailed. Kancilia also reported completing Clerk College and receiving certificates. The village office will be closed July 20–21.
The board approved vouchers 2142–2179 and EFTs 07‑01 through 07‑14 on motion. The minutes show unanimous approval of the Clerk/Treasurer report and the bill payments.
