Public commenters urge help for youth athletes, seniors and unhoused residents

Other speakers urged more consistent outreach to seniors during extreme heat, described ongoing volunteer efforts to deliver water and supplies, and thanked the city for a recent festival and announced a July 25 scholarship event in Ward 3.
