Bisbee said he personally owns a gas golf cart that he parked because the city has no ordinance permitting its use; his daughter, Olive, spoke in support and said the family’s golf cart has seat belts, slow-moving signs and does not travel at high speed. Scott Kochendorfer, Planning and Zoning Administrator, said staff will draft a proposed ordinance and may consider folding the new language into the city’s existing ATV ordinance for future commission review.
No formal action was taken at the June 17 meeting on a special-vehicle ordinance; the item was recorded as a public request and staff follow-up.
