Horizon Village addition told to submit updated plans, environmental filings to Wheatfield staff

The Town of Wheatfield Planning Board reviewed outstanding submission requirements for the Horizon Village addition at 6301 Inducon Drive on July 1.
Tim Zuber, the town engineer, noted the board’s file shows updated plans were last received on June 3, 2026, and asked the applicant to clarify what has changed since that submittal. The minutes record that the applicant submitted materials to the local fire advisory board on June 23 but that the fire board had not met as of the Planning Board’s July 1 meeting.
Board members also instructed the applicant to submit to the State Historic Preservation Office and the Department of Environmental Conservation for items flagged by the EAF mapper, and to provide an updated online EAF mapper. Because parts of the site lie within the airport protection overlay, the applicant must submit materials to the Niagara Frontier Airport Board (NFAB) and the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA). The minutes further note the applicant has submitted materials to the Federal Aviation Administration.
Engineering and Water & Sewer department comments were provided to the applicant for response. The minutes do not record any formal motion or vote on the project at this meeting.
Next steps in the record: applicant to provide the requested updated plans and filings; staff to continue technical review and coordinate with the noted agencies.
