A judge speaking on behalf of the board of judges told Hamey the bench was ‘‘thrilled with everything you do down there,’’ saying she regularly helps people who represent themselves and ‘‘doesn’t turn anybody away.’’
Commissioners encouraged public use of the law library and thanked Hamey for her work. With no audience participation remaining, the board moved into an executive session to discuss legal recommendations identified by the solicitor.
