Eagle River finance committee recommends payment of city and golf course bills after May review

City Treasurer Cory Hoffmann told the Finance Committee all accounts were reconciled through May and presented May 31 budget comparisons; the committee voted to recommend payment of City and Eagle River Golf Course payables to City Council.
The City of Eagle River Finance Committee met June 9 and, after a review of May financials, voted to recommend that City Council approve payment of the presented City and Eagle River Golf Course payables.
City Treasurer Cory Hoffmann reported that all bank accounts were reconciled through May and presented bank balances and budget comparisons through May 31, 2026 for both the city and the Eagle River Golf Course. He also said there were no late payments or penalties and that no additional monthly updates were required.
Committee member Vic Washelesky moved to recommend payment of the presented City and Golf Course payables to City Council; Dan Dumas seconded. The motion carried on a roll call vote with the committee members present voting in favor. The committee previously approved the minutes of its May 12, 2026 meeting on a motion by Washelesky, seconded by Dumas.
The meeting was called to order at 5:18 p.m. by Mayor Deb Brown and adjourned at 5:40 p.m. on a motion by Kim Schaffer, seconded by Washelesky. Becky Bolte, the city clerk, recorded the minutes.
