Oxnard committee recommends council authorize three on-call design contracts and a SCADA support agreement

The Oxnard Public Works and Transportation Committee on July 14 recommended that City Council authorize three on-call professional services agreements for design and constructability review services and a separate SCADA support services agreement.

Staff said the three on-call agreements (Diversified Project Services International Inc.; Coming Management Group, Inc.; and Walden Engineering) each have an initial three-year term from July 31, 2026, to July 30, 2029, with options for two consecutive one-year extensions ending July 30, 2031. The agenda package lists each agreement amount as not to exceed $1,250,000. No public speakers signed up on the item and staff answered committee questions before a member moved the recommendation.

Separately, staff presented agreement 3270047 with Rovasis for supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) support services. That contract is listed in the agenda package with an initial one-year term from July 31, 2026, to July 30, 2027 and an option for up to four one-year extensions ending July 30, 2031; the agenda lists a not-to-exceed amount in the package for the initial term.

Both recommendations were moved, seconded and carried by 3-0 votes. Committee members did not receive or record public comments on these items during the meeting. The items will be forwarded to City Council for authorization of the mayor to execute the agreements.
