Orange Select Board accepts solar and deck building permits

The Orange Select Board accepted two building permits during its Sept. 16 meeting. The Building Inspector had approved a permit submitted by Alex Smith for a solar installation at 50 Tug Mountain Road (map 3 lot 26-3); the board accepted the permit after fees were received. The board also accepted a residential deck permit submitted by Anthony Cardosi for 74 Williams Road (map 3 lot 61E) following inspector approval and fee payment.
Lucy LaChance moved to accept the solar permit and Samara Pitre moved to accept the deck permit; both motions passed 3–0. The minutes record that the Building Inspector approved both permits prior to board action.
No conditions, waivers or variances were recorded in the minutes for either permit. The board signed bills and vouchers later in the meeting and scheduled its next meeting for Oct. 7, 2025 at 6 p.m.
