Glenburn council extends Verizon contract, approves cybersecurity purchase and local permits

Councilor David Hoff moved and Dustin Dewbre seconded a motion to extend the Verizon agreement from 2026 through 2031; the motion passed unanimously. The transcript records that the council considered the extension and accepted it by vote.
Councilor Taylor Dotson moved to purchase Malwarebytes for city systems as a cybersecurity measure; David Hoff seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The council also approved a deck permit for Blaine Stevens after a motion by Dustin Dewbre and second by Taylor Dotson.
Separately, the council approved Jaime Hauge's request to put up a welcome banner for CANDAK in August. The council approved paying bills totaling $36,744.35, as presented in the meeting financial report; payments listed included payroll, vendor invoices and utilities.
