The Camp Verde Town Council approved annual revisions to the Town’s Permanent Salary Range Table during the June 17 regular session and reviewed proposed amendments to the Personnel Manual.
Human Resources Director Julia Kaiser presented the salary-range review and explained changes intended to align the town’s pay ranges with current state minimum wages and organizational assessments. Vice Mayor Wendy Escoffier moved to approve the revisions and Councilor Robin Godwin seconded; the motion passed by a 7-0 roll-call vote.
Director Kaiser also outlined proposed amendments to the Personnel Manual, focused on Holiday Leave and Bereavement Leave to align written policy with current practice. Councilors asked questions; Town Manager Miranda Fisher said staff will bring the Personnel Manual revisions back on the July 1 consent agenda for a formal vote.
The approvals to salary ranges take effect immediately for classification and pay-range administration; the Personnel Manual changes require formal adoption after the July 1 consent-agenda vote.
