Camp Verde’s Town Council voted unanimously June 17 to award the design contract for Heritage Pool renovations to Landmark Aquatic, LLC, for $48,000.
CIP Manager Martin Smith said the town issued an RFQ and received a single response from Landmark Aquatic, which is prepared to proceed into a design-build contract. Town Attorney Trish Stuhan and CIP Manager Smith answered council questions about the bid and design process, and Town Manager Miranda Fisher addressed questions about funding sources.
Councilor Robin Godwin moved to award RFQ No. 26-229 to Landmark Aquatic in the amount of $48,000; Councilor Robert Foreman seconded. The roll-call vote was 7-0 in favor. Public commenter Ruthie Bondi thanked the council for moving forward with the renovation.
Staff will proceed with design activities under the awarded contract and return with project updates and any required budget or procurement steps for council review.
