Camp Verde council approves consent agenda, designates fiscal officer and certifies FY27 levies

The Camp Verde Town Council unanimously approved its consent agenda at the June 17 regular meeting, including fiscal and administrative items needed for the coming fiscal year.
Under Resolution 2026-1219 the council designated Finance Director Michael Showers as the Town’s Chief Fiscal Officer for purposes of submitting the FY27 Expenditure Limitation Report to the Arizona Auditor General. The council also approved the Town’s Public Safety Personnel Retirement System Pension Funding Policy.
Councilors certified two levies tied to the Camp Verde Sanitary District: a FY27 special assessment levy of $222,057 for annual debt service on WIFA Note 910175 and a FY27 debt levy certification of $365,451 to Yavapai County, which serves as trustee for the sanitary district. Council also approved an Affiliate Library Agreement with the Yavapai County Free Library District for FY27.
Vice Mayor Wendy Escoffier made the motion to approve the consent agenda, Councilor Robert Foreman seconded, and the roll-call vote was 7-0 in favor.
These items were presented as routine financial and administrative approvals; the council took no separate action to remove any consent item from the package. The measures enable staff to proceed with FY27 fiscal filings and maintain the town’s library affiliation.
