Redmond schedules World Cup final watch party at Marymoor and Derby Days in late July

Raftis said the events were part of a broader effort by city teams "to make sure Redmond was indeed ready for the world" while also caring for the local community.
Raftis advised attendees with tickets to the sold-out Meet Me at Marymoor event to "bring a low back chair or blanket and try to carpool, bike, or take transit to the event." He said limited free parking will be available and suggested people may park at the Redmond Technology Station and take the 2 line to Marymoor Village.
The city is promoting related watch parties and activities held by community hosts and the city's soccer ambassadors, whom Raftis thanked for providing programming input and feedback. The announcement directs residents to the city's event listings at Experience Redmond for details on schedules and any last-minute changes.
