Commissioner Celeste Meyeres moved to accept the award and to authorize the chair to sign the grant contract once the county attorney had reviewed it; the motion passed unanimously.
The county recorded the action as acceptance of a grant with an administrative condition: the chair may execute the contract after the attorney confirms the contract contains no provisions requiring additional commission review. Implementation tasks recorded by staff include executing the contract after attorney review and coordinating match funding with the Recreation and Transportation Special Service District.
