Council approves bills, consent agenda items and confirms Plan Commission appointment

Councilmember Abduche moved to approve bills totaling $2,752,003.80; the motion passed by voice vote. The consent agenda, which included a resolution creating Ward 19 to correct ward designation for territory annexed by Ordinance 2026-12 (the Johnson property), approval of a Merchant McIntyre and Associates LLC contract for 2026–27, and authorization to purchase 20 new computer stations, was moved and approved by the council.
The mayor nominated Airdi Lowell (name transcribed inconsistently earlier in the meeting) to the Plan Commission for a term through May 2029; a motion to confirm the appointment was approved by voice vote. The mayor also recognized Rebecca Prendergast for service to the Plan Commission from 2020–26.
