District technology and maintenance directors report chiller installation, pool repairs and network hardware replacement

Technology Director Beau Gregory said computer imaging for district machines is proceeding, with most middle school computers completed. Gregory reported an elementary firmware update and that three stackable switches in an elementary hallway are not functioning; the district has ordered three replacement switches to be reconfigured and installed.
Maintenance Director Adam Ertman reported that the high school chiller has been set in place and bolted; electricians are scheduled to wire the unit and Long's Technology will install the controller, with the district hoping to have the high school air conditioning operating by the middle of next week. Ertman said roofing work is wrapping up and that pool liners required repairs; crews were refilling, beginning to heat and add chemicals with an expected reopening by Monday. On a football‑field drainage project, crews could not core through a clay layer; Ertman said they ordered longer drill‑bit extensions and a larger machine to finish drilling so they can fill cores with sand to improve filtration.
Ertman also described the district's bidding process for projects.
