Town Manager: tax bills mailed; Secretary of State did not bid tabulators, so Winter Harbor won’t receive a new machine
Summary
Town Manager Sara J. Liscomb told Selectmen that tax bills had been mailed and that, because the Secretary of State did not go out to bid for new tabulator machines this year, Winter Harbor will not receive a new tabulator for the November election. On elections, Liscomb reported that the Secretary of State has, for the third year in a row, not gone out to bid for new tabulator machines. The minutes state that this means Winter Harbor will not be getting a new tabulator for the November election. The minutes do not record any additional direction or request from the board on this item.
