The Jal City Council met Nov. 24 and reviewed the city’s Infrastructure Capital Improvement Plan (ICIP), but the council did not take formal action on the plan.
Mayor Stephen Aldridge called the public hearing to order at 4:41 p.m. and Clerk Molly Sanchez recorded a roll call listing Councilors Smith, Trevino, Seifts, Ward and Chacon as present. The minutes indicate the ICIP was discussed during new business but contain no motion, vote or staff direction regarding adoption or changes to the plan.
At 5:13 p.m., Councilor Trevino moved to adjourn; Councilor Seifts seconded. The council voted unanimously, 5-0, to adjourn. The minutes are attested by Molly Sanchez, City Clerk, and signed by Mayor Stephen Aldridge. No next meeting date or follow-up action on the ICIP is specified in the record.
Because the minutes record the ICIP item as "discussion only," there is no formal outcome to report on the plan from this session.
