Rogersville Board approves routine minutes, pays $210,931 in bills and advances culvert contract readings

The Rogersville Board of Aldermen approved routine meeting business and several formal actions at its Nov. 17 session.
The board approved opening the meeting and accepted prior meeting minutes (Nov. 3, 2025) and close-session minutes. After review and questions, the board approved accounts payable: General Fund $131,598.61, Water/Sewer $65,852.92 and Park Fund $13,469.88, totaling $210,931.41.
On old business, the board reviewed Christian County’s use-tax ballot wording and, after discussion, voted to table further action until the next meeting. On new business, the board conducted first and second readings of bill #11172025A, an ordinance authorizing the mayor to execute an agreement with J & H Excavating, LLC for the Leabrooke culvert; Alderman Tim Clarkson moved, Alderman Jeff Lee seconded, and the readings passed by roll call vote.
The meeting adjourned at approximately 6:56 p.m. Minutes were submitted by City Clerk Glenda Stegner.
