Council approves housing lot disposal, elects vice mayor and reviews pending calendar

The manager described next steps on a landfill loan application — including attorney certification and a state financial review — and warned that improper disposal of so‑called 'flushable wipes' is damaging sewer infrastructure and could cause costs exceeding $50,000.
The council confirmed upcoming dates: a Board of Adjustment meeting April 7; a parks and recreation work session April 9 (to discuss fee policy and the Little League MOU); a regular meeting April 15; and a Board of Equalization meeting April 20.
