The Hanover Public School District School Board on March 9 approved a series of personnel actions including a retirement, several resignations, new hires, substitute appointments and one FMLA leave.
The board accepted the retirement of Teresa Mulligan-Kinsey, a teaching assistant at Hanover Middle School, effective March 13, 2026. It also approved resignations from Shane Jacoby (Learning Support Teacher at Hanover Middle School, effective March 13), Allyson Green (Teacher at Washington Elementary, effective at the end of the 2025–26 school year) and Mary Roberts (Cafeteria Worker at Hanover High School, effective Feb. 26, 2026). The motions were approved by roll call votes.
New appointments approved included Tiffany Bethas as full-time secretary/receptionist in the District Office (7 hours/day, Level One compensation), Melissa Wilson as a full-time secretary at Clearview Elementary (7.5 hours/day, Level Two), and extended substitute assignments for Laura Silver (8th grade Language Arts) and Thomas Clowes (Learning Support). The board also approved coaching staff updates for the 2025–26 spring season.
The board granted an FMLA leave to Jayce Carr, Kindergarten Teacher at Washington Elementary, effective March 18 (approximately to March 30, not to exceed 12 weeks). Mrs. Gulden moved the leaves/resignations package and Mr. Lippy seconded where noted; all personnel items recorded roll call approval of 9-0.
