Board approves $220,200 roofing contract for ZCHS varsity gym

The board was asked to authorize the leadership team and Technical Assurance to execute contracts within the presented project scope. Coffman stated that costs totaling $220,200.00 will be paid from 2025 bond proceeds.
Mrs. Jennifer Valentine moved to accept the Henry C. Smither Roofing Company bid and authorize contract execution; Dr. Christy Wessel-Powell seconded. The motion passed unanimously, 4-0. The approval authorizes staff to proceed with contract execution consistent with the project scope described to the board.
