The Sun Prairie Area School District board opened a brief public session, approved the meeting agenda and multiple consent items, and welcomed new administrators before moving to a board retreat.
Chair (speaker 1) asked for a motion to approve the agenda; Grayson moved, Steven seconded, and the motion carried after a voice vote. The chair then moved several consent items forward (items 4.01 and 0.2) and polled members, who answered in the affirmative. Later the board approved the board consent agenda (6.01, 6.02, 6.03) following a second and voice vote.
Chair (speaker 1) noted the session was short and invited Isaac (speaker 3) to share any thoughts. Isaac said feedback from the prior meeting favored moving through the agenda efficiently and suggested clearer advance organization of motions and agenda items.
The chair also welcomed new administrators Dr. Reed and Dr. Turner and told attendees that the board would move locations for an open board retreat that would not be recorded, though members of the public were welcome to observe in person.
No members of the public offered comment during the public-comment period.
