Homeowner Joseph McFrello told the hearing officer that moving the tanks to the north side of the house would require running the propane line more than 100 feet through the attic, which he argued would create a potential hazard; he added that he and his wife are elderly and have chronic health conditions and said a generator is essential to avoid hardship during outages.
No members of the public opposed the request at the hearing. Staff offered no further comment. The hearing officer closed the public portion and will issue a written decision.
