Hanover Public School District highlights 'Innovation in Action'; district to be featured for AI use

Dr. Scola said the evening showcased programs including STEAM, the Integrative Learning Center, AP courses, Spanish instruction and an E-sports arena; an event video produced by Dr. Seiple and David Fry will be shared with staff and external partners. About 20 staff, more than 50 students and roughly 400 guests attended, Scola reported.
Dr. Seiple told the board the district was chosen for a Pennsylvania Educational Leadership Journal feature that recognizes the district’s systematic use of artificial intelligence in administrative or instructional practice. "This is exciting for the District," she said.
Administrators said the Innovation in Action video will be distributed on the district’s Facebook page and to partner networks; they described the event as a candidate for a recurring (possibly biennial) program to showcase district offerings.
The board did not take a formal vote on the presentations; the remarks were informational and set context for continuing curriculum and communications work.
