Hanover board approves $1.49 million in payments, adopts LIU #12 budget and exonerates delinquent tax bills

The board approved check registers from the General Fund (including athletic and activity accounts) totaling $1,384,869.49, Cafeteria $24,448.25, and Capital Reserve $78,704.83 for a grand total of $1,488,022.57. Mrs. Shea moved the item and Mr. Huston seconded; the motion passed on a 7-0 roll-call vote.
The board also approved the Lincoln Intermediate Unit #12 General Operating Budget for 2026-2027 in the amount of $9,444,489. The minutes note the cost to the District for 2026-2027 as $0 (prior year cost $2,890.18). The motion was made by Mrs. Shea and seconded by Mrs. Gulden and approved 7-0.
Finally, the board voted to exonerate Holly Liska, the tax collector, from collection of listed delinquent real estate and interim tax bills turned over to York County for collection, including 179 bills for 2025 real estate taxes totaling $594,014.57 and additional interim tax bill counts and amounts recorded in the minutes. The motion passed 7-0.
