Staff said the contractor has been coordinating with affected businesses and residents and will provide public information via social media and direct outreach. The variance language includes approximate dates (beginning Aug. 10 through Sept. 18, 2026, in permit language) and the council approved the temporary exception to the usual construction hours.
Council and staff noted the work is primarily in Logan’s roadway but impacts Providence sewer infrastructure; staff will share public‑information links to help residents track closures and schedule updates.
