Leibel also noted bike‑to‑the‑fair days (Tuesday and Wednesday) with a fully manned bike‑valet at the pit gate and said ebikes count for the free admission promotion.
Allers described recent improvements to fair facilities, including renovations to the bar and events center space, new shutters on the church exhibit and adjustments to parking and site access to make the grounds more inviting. He encouraged residents to follow the fair’s social channels, noting strong online engagement from the fair’s TikTok and Facebook outreach.
Leibel highlighted several new or returning attractions: a debut AGRIBOT (an agricultural transforming robot) to provide agriculture facts, a mullet competition with a cash prize sponsored by a local salon, the national award‑winning Fair Buddies program, and the Swifty Swine pig races (noted as in their last year for three years). She also said many grandstand shows and parking are included with admission while a limited VIP pit upgrade is available for select concerts.
The chair thanked the presenters and volunteers and invited commissioners and the public to the fair’s flag raising and other events. Commissioners in attendance said they planned to attend and noted fair information and related materials would be available at county outreach venues during the fair.
