Hanover Public SD board approves hires, summer staffing and policy second readings

The board also approved its school physicians, naming Dr. Douglas Masucci as consulting physician, and approved school dental hygienist Micki Schneider for the 2026–2027 year. These motions were recorded as approved by roll call vote 8-0.
Policy business: The board gave second approval to policies 140 (Charter Schools), 202 (Eligibility of Nonresident Students), 221 (Dress and Grooming), 234 (Threat Assessment), 325 (Dress and Grooming), 619 (District Audit), and 810 (Transportation). That motion passed 8-0.
The approvals give the administration authority to staff and run summer programs and to proceed with listed hires and vendor arrangements as recorded in the agenda. The minutes do not record any public comment on these items.
