Among the items adopted were a second reading and adoption of Ordinance No. 3173, which incorporates and amends the 2025 Editions of the California Building Standards Code and related model codes; adoption of a Recognized Obligation Payment Schedule (Resolution No. WRSA-25-01) and the Whittier Redevelopment Successor Agency administrative budget (Resolution No. WRSA-25-02) for July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 34177; receipt of the Community Facilities District (CFD) 2019-01 annual accountability report required by SB 165; approval of a Professional Services Agreement with Craftwater Engineering Inc. for design of the York Field Stormwater Capture project in an amount not to exceed $421,115; and approval of the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Social Services Grant funding allocations and formation of an ad-hoc committee for the 2026-2027 cycle.
Council Member Cathy Warner moved and Council Member Fernando Dutra seconded approval of the consent calendar. The question was called and the motion carried 4-0-1, with Council Member Mary Ann Pacheco absent.
