Director of Community Development Ben Pongetti announced during roll call that Vice Chair Richard Quirk had submitted his resignation from the Whittier City Planning Commission effective the prior Friday. Pongetti noted that Quirk had served on the Commission since November 2018.
Assistant City Attorney Scott Porter advised that selection of a new Vice Chair was not agendized for the April 20 meeting. The Commission concurred that consideration of the Vice Chair position would be scheduled for a future meeting.
