On surplus property, trustees declared a police Ford Explorer (vehicle no. 934), a 2000 Ford F‑350 fire vehicle (no. 3427), a 2011 International dump truck (DPW no. 9) and a 2011 paint machine (DPW no. 47) surplus and authorized their disposal by public auction, sealed bid or private sale. Staff noted the municipal garage’s maintenance practices typically yield good resale value for fleet vehicles.
The board approved the Village of Fairport’s June 2026 financial statements and the Fairport Municipal Commission’s April and May 2026 statements after staff explained seasonal timing for revenues and expenses. Trustees also authorized payment of the audited bills after trustees who reviewed the vouchers confirmed they found them in order.
Two insurance items were addressed: the board amended a previously approved $70,000 authorization for July health and dental premiums down to $61,684.12, and it authorized the clerk‑treasurer to pay estimated August health and dental premiums not to exceed $70,000, subject to audit and board authorization in August.
